NVQ Qualifications
The NVQ is an internationally recognised work-based qualification designed to demonstrate a learners occupational competence.  It recognises the practical skills, knowledge and experience a person needs to be able to work in a specific profession or industry.
During your qualification you will gather workplace evidence and complete knowledge questions to demonstrate your understanding and ability.
The assessment will also involve:
Completing an induction with your assessor
Completing knowledge questions
Gathering evidence from site, e.g. RAMS, programmes of work, toolbox talks, etc
Obtaining a witness testimony from a competent person
Completing a professional discussion with your assessor
Final review and completion of portfolio
